Architect · Climate Action Strategist
I'm an architect and climate strategist focused on the future of high-performance research and healthcare environments.
With more than 13 years of experience across healthcare, laboratory, and education facilities, my work operates at the intersection of complex design challenges, technical rigor, and long-term climate responsibility. I currently serve as Climate Action Strategist at DLR Group and as Co-Chair of the ULI Boston/New England Climate Resiliency Committee, advancing decarbonization, resilience, and regenerative design through both building strategy and organizational change.
I'm driven by curiosity and the sparks that emerge between domains. I'm drawn to film, technology, sports, and the quiet logic embedded in design and narrative. What I share here is not isolated commentary but the tracing of ideas, following their paths in the hope that they begin to form patterns and communities.
I studied architecture at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and earned my Master of Urban Design from the University of Michigan Taubman College. I also serve as Chair of the HUST Alumni Association of Greater Boston, a nonprofit organization, where I organize events and create space for overseas alumni to connect and grow together.
When MrBeast recreated Squid Game on YouTube, it felt both contemporary and ancient. Four hundred fifty-six contestants stood beneath pastel staircases. A prize large enough to transform a life hovered at the center.
In Mickey 17, a man signs up to be "expendable." His job is simple and brutal. He dies so others do not have to. Each time he dies, a new body is printed. His memories are restored. His work resumes. Mickey is not immortal. He is replaceable.
